Spring Sports Start Strong
As spring is approaching, The Lakeside School has many after school Spring Sport activities going on. The Varsity Baseball Team includes: Christian Beasley, Kyler Wells, Hess Horne, Alex Welch, Walton Sanders, Daniel Yearta, Feagin Tracy, Brandon LeRoy, Evan Faircloth, JJ Dismukes, Reid Potthoff, Zac Charpie, Mitchell Newton, Tanner Robertson, Caleb Hughes, and Will Cobb. The JV Boys Baseball players are JJ Dismukes, Brandon LeRoy, Clayton Walker, Monroe Whitehead, Reese Herring, Bankston Jones, Hess Horne, Lawton Riley, Slade Seaborn, Davis Mott, Trevor Biggs, Hayden Benefield, and Nick Foshee. Both teams are coached by David Heath, The Varisty and JV softball teams are coached by Whitney Toole. The Varsity Softball Team consists of: Hannah Killingsworth, Sydney Williams, Laiken Green, Brooke Morris, Lindsey Andrews, Claire Railey, Joiner Hughes, Hailee Goare, and Mareha Belanger. The JV Softball Team includes: Karley Wortz, Shelby Williams, Laura Beth Horne, Emily Moshell, Claire Forshee, Leeland Anderson, Bailey Lawrence, Maddie Brown, Jenny Weston, Morgan Tasker, Blaire Finlayson, and Danyell Lewis. Another team is the Tennis Team which includes: Lucy Calton, Faith-Anne Hunt, Sealy Smith, Abbey Neville, Grace Bledsoe, and Mackenzie Platte. The are coached by Crickett McKinnon. A fairly new addition to our athletic department is the Track Team; they are going on their second year. The team is coached by Britt Martin and consists of Drewry Beuoy, Joiner Hughes, Lawton Riley, Christian Beasley, and Danyell Lewis. The Golf Team includes: Pierce Smith, Frank Garrison, Skyler Beam, Bogdan Garrett, Will Dixon, Bramlette Gray, Harris Bennett, Sellers Smith, Matthew Welk, Jackson Mitchell, Will Krueger, Trace King, Liston Cochran, and Peyton Reeves. The coach for the Golf Team is Paul Voors and Raymond Beam. Last, but not least, is the Fishing Team. Members are Ethan Greene, Cody Lynn, Stan Wilson, Abby Montgomery, John Adams Gray, Dani Rosen, Reese Herring, and Spencer Biggs. They are coached by Heath Greene. As all these teams are still getting started; we wish them the best of luck throughout their season!
LSC Takes On the Eagles for Senior Night
This Friday night we will be hosting the Fort Dale Eagles for our last regular season game! Friday night is also Senior Night. Those being recognized include; five cheerleaders and nine football players. Fort Dale is playing here coming off of a win against Hooper with the score being 35-17. During halftime, we will have the cash giveaway where you could have a chance to win 500, 1,000, or 10,000$. You can purchase a ticket in the front office for 50$ in the office. If you want to purchase a ticket, it must be bought before Wednesday the 12th. Don't forget to come and support our Lakeside Chiefs!
